A TASTY JOURNEY AROUND THE WORLD

We wanted to do something different from “Juanjo and Anna Around the World”, so we came up with the idea of using food as the central theme of the trip. This also led to us taking cookery classes in different countries, cooking in local people’s homes, and being shown the kitchens of some restaurants. Wonderful experiences all round. What’s more, food is a very important part of a country’s culture.

When we first set out to write it, we weren’t quite sure what kind of book to create. In the end, we came up with the idea of producing a very visual book, as the photos from the trip deserved it, with a brief account of our impressions of the country and, finally, a traditional recipe from there. In this way, we offer an overview of all the countries we’ve visited, complete with a delicious recipe.
