It is a work which, although based on entirely factual data, soon begins to highlight the violence that will come to play a dominant role. It is that violence which is subliminally embedded within a system that refuses to acknowledge peace as anything other than a disruptive force to social harmony. The characters, Mona and Mono, and the voice-overs (a chorus of so many others), clearly and logically do not want war, but it is also true that they would not in any way renounce the basic frameworks that have shaped their lives.

For the author, Hillyer Schürjin, there could be no greater joy than for readers, having read the work, to disagree with it entirely.
