Máxima is every person rolled into one, every emotion of the human heart, and every story of love and loss. Like a storyboard, this exhibition follows her on her fascinating journey with the audience on her shoulders, observing through her eyes. Máxima is the Neo of The Matrix who follows the tattooed white rabbit; the modern Alice who falls down the rabbit hole; the Dorothy in Oz walking along golden cobblestones and seeking redemption for others and for herself.

Her story is like the anti-hero’s catharsis. Tired of tales of brave men and self-sacrificing women, she has created a feature film that resonates throughout every piece in the exhibition; works that sparkle like stills from life.
