RINCONETE AND CORTADILLO
Year 6 pupils, Bilingual Section

This project was launched on the initiative of teachers from two different schools in our region: IESO Arturo Plaza in Losar de la Vera and CEIP Pedro de Valencia in Zafra. This initiative is innovative and still relatively rare.

This work focuses on what is perhaps the finest of Cervantes’s exemplary novels, *Rinconete y Cortadillo*. There is no doubt that Cervantes, a genius in so many literary respects, was the first writer to introduce the novel genre to Spain, a genre that had no precedent there.
