El germen que dio lugar a Ars Symbolica 2000<\/em> fue la idea de crear un libro con \u201cim\u00e1genes para meditar\u201d, o lo que es lo mismo un libro de emblemas, pues de pertenecer a un g\u00e9nero, este libro pertenecer\u00eda al olvidado g\u00e9nero de la Emblem\u00e1tica. Ese que practicaban alquimistas, sabios y eruditos de \u00e9pocas ya remotas como Alciato, Athanasius Kircher o Michael Maier, entre otros. <\/p>\n

And it is conceived as such, following the style of those \u2018silent\u2019 books in which the symbolic power of the image took precedence over that of the word, and where the symbols are accompanied simply by brief quotations or paragraphs.<\/p>\n
