Criminal Chronicle of Castell\u00f3n<\/em> brings together nearly two hundred cases, presented with the utmost legal rigour and in clear, concise language, in which the author\u2014a public prosecutor for forty-five years, thirty of which were spent at the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office of the Provincial Court of Castell\u00f3n\u2014has either been directly involved or has gained first-hand knowledge through original documentation.<\/p>\n

This book reveals, for the first time to the public, cases such as the execution by garrote vil at Castell\u00f3n prison of a serial killer; the case of a neighbour killed by another because he was annoyed by the barking of the former\u2019s dog; the case of the serial rapist in Castell\u00f3n; the homicide committed during a duel mutually agreed upon by the combatants; the arson attack on the Castell\u00f3n Provincial Council committed by one of its officials, and the murder of the mushroom picker in Barracas… These are just a few of the many cases that took place in this province, recounted exactly as they happened, providing a comprehensive overview of Castell\u00f3n\u2019s judicial history over the last few decades. <\/p>\n
